Medium: Learning to embrace the present
Slow living, literally, is a shortcut to the present moment. Since our bodies are not used to doing things slower or faster than our learned ingrained speed, it requires focus and attention. By definition, attention at doing is attention to the present moment, thus, a shortcut to mindfulness.

A year ago I launched my Medium.com "career" with the brainchild of a whole Christmas vacation worth of reflection. Inspired by Yuval Harari's Homo Deus and Sapiens I wrote a longer piece about how we view the world is shaped by stories, how narratives shape our lives.
